Employees who attend a total of 48 hours or more of specific training subjects or categories (determined by the LMA on an annual basis) will be eligible to receive a Training Day. The Training Day benefit is up to two 24-hour shifts that may be used as a “same day”. This benefit must be used the same year as when the employee attended the training and cannot be rolled over into the next year, without approval. The period for accumulating training hours starts January 1 and ends December 31 of each calendar year.
