• Emergency Medical Services

    The West County EMS and Fire Protection District responds to approximately 7,000 calls for service annually, roughly 70% of which are for Emergency Medical Services.  All West County apparatus are staffed by licensed Paramedic/Firefighters and are equipped with state-of-the-art Advanced Life Support equipment including Zoll cardiac monitor/defibrillators.  Professional Medical Control is provided by Dr. John Wilmas, MD, with Mercy Hospital-St. Louis, which is a Level 1 Trauma Center.  An ALS Ambulance is deployed from each of the District's three Stations, with an additional off-road Kubota resource deployed from Station 3.

    If you would like to obtain a copy of your medical record, please contact the office at 636-256-2007 to make arrangements to pick up a free copy at our Administrative Offices. Please note that in order to maintain compliance with federal privacy laws, proof of identification and potentially power of attorney are required to release medical records.
